Coach Session View

The parent report is what goes home to families. See Player 04's →

Session Load Score is computed against each athlete's own history, never against another athlete.

This list is how you reach one athlete. Every number lives inside that athlete's own page. Tap any name to open their coach view. The parent report opens from inside that view.

    Coach app

The coach app is in testing.

It runs on a trainer's phone. It's built so the trainer can sync the pods after practice and send each family a weekly report. Anyone with an iPhone can install the test build. Every number in it is sample data, because the pods can't send the app anything yet.

On iPhone it installs through TestFlight, Apple's app for test builds. If you run basketball training in LA, OC or San Diego, message us and we'll show you how it works.

    Session Load Score

A composite we are still designing, built from what trainers say they watch for.

    Work and Rest

    —

Minutes moving against minutes standing. A session is mostly waiting, and this is the shape of it.

    Jump Count

    —

Times the pod saw the pattern of leaving the floor and landing again. It counts the takeoff. It does not measure how high he got.

    Rep Consistency

    —

How closely his motion at the end of a session matched his motion at the start. Compared only against his own earlier reps, never against another athlete.

    Overhead Actions

    —

Times the arm went above shoulder height in a throwing or shooting pattern.

    Time to Settle Experimental

    —

How long after a hard effort before he is standing still again. Measured between reps, not during them. Experimental: this measurement has not been validated at this sensor placement.

    Effort zones

The pod sorts each second by how hard the arm was accelerating. These bands are the pod's own scale, not a published cut-point. Intensity figures are directional, not clinical.

How the score is calculated is still open. We are working it out by asking trainers what they watch for rather than choosing the inputs ourselves. The full reasoning is here.

    Parent Report

Each family gets one page for their own athlete, built from the same session data on this screen. The coach's note goes at the top, above the numbers.

    Weekly Report

    SAMPLE DATA

    From your coach

    Written after this week's sessions.

The trainer writes this. Nothing on this page writes it for him. If he does not write a note, the report does not go out, because a page of numbers with no one who was in the gym attached to it is not worth sending to a parent.
